Returns and Exchanges

All you need to know...

All Items purchased from Dreamy Lengths online can be returned for a 100% refund, exchange or replacement within 14 working days from receipt of delivery.
The hair must be retuned in its original shipped condition and packaging, and not tainted by hygiene. If the hair has been removed from the card or untied, then it will not be refunded. If the hair is returned in a state that it cannot be re-sold then it will be returned back to the customer at their own cost. 

Should your return fall after the 14 working days, and no longer than 30 working days, we are happy to refund the goods to the value of 70% of the original price or 100% in Dreamy Lengths vouchers.
Please make sure you contact us via email, if your return falls out of the 14 working day period.

A restocking fee will be applied to all returned hair. This will be the amount Dreamy Lengths were charged for your card processing fee. This fee varies depending on which method of payment the customer used.

Please note we cannot be held liable for any interest charges you may incur because the refund was made outside of your credit/debit card timescale.

Exchanges cannot be sent out until the original package has been received and inspected by Dreamy Lengths.

Before returning a product please contact us via email at dreamylengths@outlook.com and we will provide you with all the information you need to send your items back to us.

You or your carrier are responsible for any returned goods to reach our warehouse. Cost and risk will be at your expense and we strongly recommend obtaining proof of postage and using Royal Mail’s ‘Recorded signed’ service. If the package you are returning is of a high value you may want to opt for Royal Mail’s special delivery.

For exchanged items we will ask for a nominal fee for shipping costs.  We aim to make all refunds within 14 working days from receipt of goods. Receipt of delivery will be determined by when you sign for your package.

Dreamy Lengths will not be liable for any returned items we receive that are outside of this returns policy. You will be contacted and a reason for this decision will be given. We will happily send the items in dispute back to you, at your own cost, otherwise the items will be destroyed within 90 days from their receipt back to us.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

Dreamy Lengths cannot guarantee the security of any personal information you transmit to us. This is done at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems.

​Quality Concerns

​All quality issues must be reported to us via email within a maximum of 30 days from the date of sale and by the purchaser. This is due to human hair being a consumable item during wear. We must receive the hair back within 7 working days of the complaint being made. Hair that has been colored or altered in any way will not be accepted. 

Any coloring of the extensions is done at the customers own risk and we are not responsible for heat damage caused by the customer. All hair that is returned for quality reasons will be put through our quality inspection, this can take up to a maximum of 30 working days.

We recommend only the use of Dreamy Lengths hair care products. Proof of purchase will be required when submitting a quality issue. The quality of our hair extensions cannot be guaranteed with the use of other products. 

Dreamy lengths cannot be held responsible for the application and removal of the hair extensions. We highly recommend only allowing a trained hair extensionist to fit and maintain your extensions.

Dreamy lengths are not responsible for any damage caused to hair whilst on holiday/in hotter climates. We strongly advise all customers to avoid both chlorine and sea water. Dreamy Lengths will not be held responsible for any discolouration when coming into contact with sea water, chlorine, sun tan lotion and heat. Hair must be covered when using tanning beds to avoid discolouration of the hair extensions and dryness. Please see our aftercare page for great advice and tips on how best to maintain your hair.

All returns must have a fully completed Hair Report Form. Any goods received without the appropriate paperwork will not be processed until the correct paperwork is received. Failure to provide the completed paperwork within 91 days will result in the goods being destroyed. After inspection if no fault is present, or the hair has been damaged or coloured in any way, the goods will be returned to the customer at your cost and we will not refund or replace the goods. Please note that testing of faulty hair extensions can take up to 30 days.
If a consumer believes there to be a fault in the first instance the goods should be washed and tested for quality by the purchaser. If the purchaser then believes there is an issue they must notify Dreamy Lengths and request a hair report form. Once the goods have been received along with the form they will be tested and the findings communicated back to the purchaser within 30 days. Dreamy Lengths will only deal with the purchaser regarding any of our products they have either sold or applied. The contract of sale is between the purchaser and the consumer.
The goods are the responsibility of the customer until they reach Dreamy Lengths warehouse. Please ensure all items are packaged properly to avoid transit damages and items are returned using a tracked service.
Dreamy Lengths will not be held responsible for any additional expenses due to faulty goods e.g. removal or re-application costs. Fading of the hair will happen naturally overtime and this is not deemed as a manufacturing fault.

Any returned goods that we receive which are outside of this Returns Policy will be defined as “In Dispute”. Such In Dispute items will not be refunded or exchanged. A reason for this decision will be provided. We are happy to re-ship such In Dispute items back to you at a cost, otherwise, they will be destroyed within 91 working days from their receipt back to us.

Goods are not considered faulty if their condition has deteriorated due to poor hair management. This includes heat damage, incorrect aftercare and poor application. 

HAIR DISCOLOURATION

Hair extensions may change colour over time due to many factors. To help reduce this its recommended that you avoid the hair extensions coming into contact with sun creams, oils, fake tan lotions and perfume. Contact with any of these products can turn the hair extensions a peachy colour.
